The headquarters are in Kagoshima City, Kagoshima, a prefecture famous for livestock products like Black Berkshire pork and black Japanese beef, and agricultural products like sweet potatoes. The company's philosophy is to "spread Japanese culture through Japanese tea” by providing a variety of products that will make customers say, "Kagoshima tea is delicious!         <div class="vodal-vtext">Oboro Yume Sabo is a Japanese tea producer that cultivates, produces, and sells Japanese tea in Yame, Fukuoka. Masahiro Kuma, the third-generation owner, is determined to spread the appeal of Yame and the Gyokuro it produces. The cultivation process is done entirely by hand, an aspect Kuma emphasizes as he conducts retail sales. <br />
Yame Dento Hon-Gyokuro, which can only be produced in Yame, has consecutively won the prestigious "Minister of Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries Award" for 21 years in the National Tea Appraisal Competition's "Gyokuro Division, Regional" category. Additionally, it is the only Gyokuro with the "GI certification," a certification system that protects the relationship between the production area and the product. It was the first tea to receive this certification, making it the only Gyokuro with such recognition.<br />
