SONO is based in Ehime, Shikoku Island, and supports small to medium size organic tea farmers' international businesses.
We aim to operate eco-friendly to save natural resources and promote organic farming.
We continue introducing unique taste tea products as well as interesting topics about Japanese teas especially the health benefits our teas can offer to our customers.
One of our unique tea is Ishizuchi Kurocha, Japanese post-fermented tea. The tea has 400 years of history and was enjoyed by the local people, Mt. Ishizuchi climbers and Shikoku pilgrimage. This tea is called 'Phantom tea' because its production almost ceased one time. The 2nd stage fermentation creates a unique sour taste and gives you multiple health benefits.
